Pilane Farmyard Café
Pilane Farmyard Café is located in part two of the exhibition, about 800 meters south of part one. Take a walk here or take your car, signs show.
At the café you will experience the genuine atmosphere of a Swedish coastline farm with sheep and cows. Enjoy the farm's local specialties, pastries, pies, sandwiches, daily lunch platter, freshly baked cardamom waffles, etc. We use local and organic ingredients whenever possible and our coffee is Fair Trade labeled, which makes it that much tastier.
At the farm you can see some of last summer's most popular sculptures, "Crying girls" and "Lion" by Laura Ford and here you will find our gallery with art in the smaller format and our exhibition shop with books and beautiful Pilane Heritage sheepskin.
From Pilane Farm Cafe it is easy to explore one of Bohuslän's largest and most beautiful nature reserve with well grazed meadows, windswept oaks and the glittering sea. A pedestrian and cycle route connects the area with the Nordic Watercolour Museum in Skärhamn and with Klädesholmen, Rönnäng and Åstol further south. If you choose a northerly direction it is only a few kilometers to nature experiences at Stigfjorden and Björholmen.
